Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League
Today is Friday, February 20. Tax season. So don't bother me (just kidding!).
At the league meeting last night, board positions were filled. Thanks to those individuals for stepping up! The new members can be found in the contacts folder as well as the updated list of club reps.
Barring a warm spell soon, we plan to kick off the spring soccer season Saturday, March 28, with a 6-game schedule. Not all the team apps have been turned in but it looks like there will ONLY be white divisions this spring and NO U16 divisions either, due to lack of teams submitted.
Coaches/parents: It is a league rule that before you submit any publications to the Lebanon Daily News stating your team as "league champions", you must first get the approval of the Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League. This does not include photos, but if any wording indicates this you need approval. Additionally, U8 and U10 teams do not keep score of their games, hence there are no champions or undefeated teams as such in these age brackets.
There is a new EPYSA/LVYSL fee worksheet in the download tab to use. For the fall, ignore the part about the number of teams you are entering. This was paid at the July meeting, but use it going forward.
Coaches, please become familiar with the Guidelines as posted on the website for all age groups. And any schedule changes/requests will only be reflected on the website schedule, NOT the excel schedules.
Concussions Protocol - Required
LATEST NEWS: Every player and coach is required to watch a video and take a test on Concussions Protocol. THIS IS AN EPYSA REQUIREMENT AND A LVYSL REQUIREMENT and must be done by all coaches. Go to the following link to access the video, test and info:

There will be a "Coach's Game Report" available in the downloads section that may used and submitted TO YOUR CLUB REP ONLY and may be further reviewed by the league. Please sign our guestbook and/or message board if you have any comments to add. They are all welcome.
From as far back as the records indicate, the league was formed in 1967, involving teams from Dauphin County as well. Sometime in the mid-70's we became strictly a league for Lebanon County teams. The Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League isdedicated to promoting health and the competitive spirit in our community. We have thousands of participants each year .
