Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League
Today is Saturday, October 25. I am out of the area for a few days so I will not be able to update the playoff spreadsheet. I will try to post the scores if I can.
The playoff schedule is on the downloads tab. The 2v3 matchups will be first, followed by the 1v4 games. I will fill in the teams as games roll in and tiebreakers are evaluated. The U14's are all set and the 4 U12 boys teams are also set, just not the order of finish. The U12 girls is down to 5 possible teams for 4 spots, to be determined this Saturday.
Here is the U12 girls scenario: HTRA and EUC Explosion are IN; EUC Jags and NL Waves are also in with a T or a W this weekend, will have to look at tiebreakers for seeding. There is also a potential for a 3 way tie for the last 2 spots. Stay tuned.
And just a reminder, Fairlane road is closed at the bridge from the Main Street side of the road. To reach the fields, please enter Fairlane from King Street or come in on Creamery Road.
Due to illegal players being used, forfeits were handed down in the U12 boys division. Standings are updated accordingly. Forfeit scores change to 1-0 from actual score reported.
Please don't forget to send in your (U12/U14) scores to me by Monday 8am or your club will be fined $3 for a late fee. Failure to report it at all is $6. The Excel schedule now has the game numbers affixed to it.I need the game number, score of game and date/teams playing, and which team you represent. The U10/U8's need not report. In fact, you technically are not to even keep score (but the kids know the score!). If anyone has any questions/concerns regarding score reporting feel free to contact me. firstname.lastname@example.org 644-2863.
There is a new EPYSA/LVYSL fee worksheet in the download tab to use. For the fall, ignore the part about the number of teams you are entering. This was paid at the July meeting, but use it going forward.
SCHEDULES ARE NOW OFFICIALLY POSTED. THEY CAN BE FOUND AT 2 LOCATIONS: UNDER THE SCHEDULES TAB, OR IN EXCEL FORMAT UNDER THE DOWNLOADS TAB. You can sort and manipulate those excel schedules any way you wish. At some point, probably when the season starts, I will only be updating the web schedule with changes and not the Excel tab.
Coaches, please become familiar with the Guidelines as posted on the website for all age groups. And any schedule changes/requests will only be reflected on the website schedule, NOT the excel schedules.
It was also decided at the league meeting that the U12 boys red division will NOT have playoffs. The division winner at the conclusion of the regular season will be declared the champ and receive the league trophy. Also, the U12's this year are all 8v8, not 11v11. Goals shall be 6 x 18 to 7 x 21. However, the league will allow this fall only to allow the bigger 8 x 24 goals since time and money will not allow a handful of clubs to have the proper size goals. All clubs need to be aware of the league decision so we do not expect any formal complaints or protests. Everyone now should know about this. Thanks for your understanding.

From as far back as the records indicate, the league was formed in 1967, involving teams from Dauphin County as well. Sometime in the mid-70's we became strictly a league for Lebanon County teams. The Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League isdedicated to promoting health and the competitive spirit in our community. We have thousands of participants each year .
